To continue my recent fishy theme, my eye was caught (pardon the pun) by a story in yesterday’s Irish Times about a huge Brown Trout captured in Lough Corrib here in Galway. The enormous 11 kg (24 lb) fish is the second-largest Brown Trout on record, and the largest caught in Ireland in 118 years.
